The mining practice exams assess a candidate’s ability to apply work health and safety knowledge in practical mining scenarios relevant to the statutory position being sought.
The mining practice exam is required for the following statutory positions:
- Underground supervisor
- Restricted quarry manager (explosives)
- Restricted quarry manager (non-explosives)
Exams for authorised mine surveyor (Grade 1 and 2) are held outside the MSP portal.
