Workplace exposure limits are coming – start preparing now!
- Undertake a risk assessment - Review what hazardous chemicals you have on site with your workers and review safety data sheets
- Seek additional help if required - Check the WorkSafe website or engage an occupational hygienist.
Employers must ensure that workers and others at the workplace are not exposed to levels of airborne contaminants above the workplace exposure limits.
New limits take effect from 1 December 2026.
