The retail sector is often where young people find their first job either and often balance work and study. Department of Commerce research into the youth labour market in Western Australia confirms that young people aged 15-19 years of age are predominantly employed in low skilled, part time or casual positions in the retail sector.  Retail might not seem like a dangerous occupation but there are lots of hazards that can hurt you if you don’t know how to keep safe.
