Breach(es):
(1) Failed to comply with improvement notice 83090 within the time specified.
(2) Failed to comply with improvement notice 83096 within the time specified.

Background Details:
Clean Drum were issued two improvement notices covering -
(1) Paint overspray into an adjoining shop occurred partly due to the insufficient length of the discharge duct to the spray booth. Improvement notice 83090 was issued to direct the employer of the workplace to increase the length of the duct. The notice was required to be complied with by 15 May 1996. This did not occur.
(2) The supply cable to a submersible pump was not laid safely across a wet floor. Improvement notice 83096 was issued to direct the employer to reroute the electrical cable. The notice was required to be complied with by 29 April 1996. This did not occur.
