Background Details:
On 7 March 1995 the (injured) employee was lifting rubbish bins, bottles and food scraps into a dumper bin. Whilst lifting one of the rubbish bags into the dumper bin he struck his elbow on a steel lug on the dumper bin which caused him to fall onto a shopping trolley. He damaged nerves in his left arm and broke one rib.
